Business Systems Analyst

You will work directly with our customers to help them build, configure, test and deploy world class solutions that could ultimately help save lives and improve the quality of patient care. We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to work on multiple business driven technology projects supporting Software deployment, configuration and customization. This position requires an enthusiastic, hardworking self-starter to implement our software applications.

Ideal candidate should have experience with medical device and manufacturing companies, ERP and FDA Part 11.

Ideal candidates must have a good balance of strong technical and business skills and a proven history of successfully planning and implementing large, complex IS projects.

Candidates should also show demonstrated ability to lead, with long-term planning and analysis of IS solutions that support critical business processes.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate requirements gathering for life sciences & other mfg customers using visual process flow techniques.

  • Understand and analyze business processes.

  • Document and improve business processes.

  • Define scope, functionality and design for technical solutions utilizing a phased or iterative approach.

  • Work with multiple technologies (web, mainframe, mid-range, and client server) .

  • Conduct pre & post sale discovery & scoping session to capture client state of operations & further requirements.

  • Produce and deliver detailed user requirement documents and functional solution requirements.

  • Advise and educate customers on all configuration activities for large scale IPM systems implementations.

  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and configure system appropriately.

  • Troubleshoot application issues that arise during deployments.

  • Create Business and Functional requirements and process flows.

  • Help customers establish processes to manage and maintain systems post-deployment.

  • Provide input to the development team on product enhancements to further streamline future deployments .

Requirements/Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Quickly master our solutions, methodologies, market, & related applications

Strong problem resolution, team building, negotiation, & decision-making skills

3+ years business analysis experience

3+ years of Information Systems development experience

Experience working with SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Microsoft Technologies, & Cisco a plus

Manufacturing or Life Sciences industry experience a plus

Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with both technical & non-technical audiences
Flexible schedule, travel as necessary (30%)
3 to 5 years of professional work experience in large scale enterprise applications
Configuring application systems for manufacturing, ERP or PLM systems
Ability to evaluate & interpret end user info requirements, & to develop & implement technical solutions
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Thorough understanding of client-server, 2- and 3- tier systems as well as web based applications

Compliance Expertise FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU MDD, OSHA, DOT, GMP, and UDI
